I promise I wasn't going to make a big deal about the big deal that went bust, but Adam Archuleta being traded to Chicago is a combination of breath of fresh air and disappointing shaking of the head.

Sure, he didn't do what we thought we was capable of doing when we brought him in here for Hall of Fame money (considering his position), but seeing him go for a 6th rounder and a bunch of cordial plesantries between him and Gibbs is disappointing. I didn't care to keep Arch on the team, and I agree getting something is better than nothing, but after all the noise we made last year (yes, me too, thinking Arch was an upgrade from Ryan Clark), a 6th rounder is like a practical joke that won't end.

As bad as the Bears wanted him, felt like they needed him, couldn't wait to see him playing for Lovie again, couldn't we have gotten anything better? Like an offensive lineman? RG anyone?

Either-or, seeing Arch pack his bags is a breath of fresh air because he stunk.
