Cantina Marina
600 Water St SW • (202) 554-8396
Cantina Marina is owned and operated by a unique group of DC restaurateurs and
partners who have chosen to be some of the first investors in the “soon to boom” Southwest Waterfront.
Through our efforts we have provided a needed amenity to the neighborhood and destination for the city.
Cantina Marina set sail in May of 2003 on DC's Southwest Waterfront. Situated in the Gangplank Marina, we are
the only restaurant on top of the water, offering a unique perspective on DC. Whether gazing at the
Washington Monument, incredible sunsets or yachts in the channel, you'll find yourself relaxing away from it
all in the middle of it all.

Market Inn Restaurant
200 E St SW • (202) 554-2100
The Market Inn has been a landmark in Southwest Washington since 1959, with
the same family ownership. We strive to serve seafood at its best and have over 85 seafood &
beef entrees on our menu. Sometimes known as "The Lobster House of Washington," (pick your own live
from the tank), we also serve prime rib, spare ribs, chicken, many fresh fish and shellfish selections.
We buy only the largest fresh sea scallops, the largest available soft shell crabs, usually designated as "Whales,"
and pride ourselves in the use of true "Jumbo Shrimp" in most shrimp dishes. Our soup are all made "In House,"
with the most famous being "She Crab." Order a soup sampler and try our "Real" Snapper Turtle
Soup & our popular Lobster Bisque or maybe a spicy Crab Gumbo. We make your meal
from scratch: cut, peel, de-vein, & butterfly shrimp, make our own sauces, and do
our own breading (always lightly).

Phillips Flagship Restaurant Seafood Restaurant
900 Water St SW • (202) 488-8515
My family started in the seafood business along Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay around
the turn of the century with my grandfather’s crab processing plant, A.E. Phillips & Son. In 1956 my
parents, Brice and Shirley Phillips, along with my brother Jeffrey and me, moved to Ocean City, Maryland.
It was there that we opened a small carryout restaurant called Phillips Crab House as a way of selling excess
crabs from my grandfather’s plant. Business grew quickly and the once small carryout grew into a two-story
restaurant seating 1400. No matter how much time goes by, I can still remember our early days when my
brother and I would help Dad steam crabs, taste Mom’s new recipes or sit on the front steps proudly calling
in that another guest was coming for dinner. Over the past 50 years we have grown our company by leaps
and bounds, both within our Mid-Atlantic home base and along the East Coast by holding fast to these simple
principles: serve the freshest, finest seafood available, provide outstanding service, and create a memorable
dining experience for our guests.
Spirit of Washington Cruise
Pier 4 • 600 Water Street SW • (866) 446-9283
It began in 1978 when a company called C.I. Travel in Norfolk, Virginia, purchased an old World War II landing
craft with the ambitious idea of converting it into a dinner cruise vessel on the historic Elizabeth River. After a
series of major renovations, the ship was finally christened Spirit of Norfolk, and a new company called Spirit Cruises was born.
