Deer Enjoying Fort Circles Park in North Michigan Park

Whenever we tell people we live in Washington, DC, most of the time people say they can’t live in the city.  It’s too noisy, crowded, urban.  We try to explain that DC is 60+ square miles and most of it is not the city living they’re thinking.  We have neighborhoods, quiet ones, tree-lined, almost suburban if you didn’t know you were in DC.

Just at the end of block, there’s a park that wraps around our neighborhood, North Michigan Park.  And from time to time, like today, there’s deer, running around in the park.
