Family Trip to a Nationals Baseball Game

Every year we make an attempt to attend a Washington Nationals game.  An incentive is always the free giveaway, this year being a Tanner Roark bobblehead.  For Najwa, it was that the playground was open this time considering her last visit with her friends, the playground was closed because of the rain.

We got there kind of early. About an hour early.

In the middle of the 4th inning is when the presidents race.  It looked like Teddy was going to win, and as usual, meaning for 7 years straight at one point, he lost.  George Washington took the race this time around.

I think kids like shaved ice only because it turns their tongue colors.
