National Cherry Blossom Festival Family Day

As the cherry blossoms reached peak bloom, we headed out to the National Building Museum for its annual National Cherry Blossom Festival Family Day.

There were lots of activities as usual, but different from our previous visit. Najwa started out making a cherry blossom with origami.

There was another activity where kids can make a wish to put on the Wishing Tree. Najwa’s wish, wherever she got it from, was that she wanted to go skating. Not sure where that came from.

And then there were a bunch of other activities.

There was a space where there were activities such as Zumba for kids and other athletic activities. Between activities, they just played music and let the kids dance. My kid, dances like me, which is to say we need dancing lessons.
