Najwa’s Class Performing During DC Prep Winter Festival [3:41]

After all these years, I never knew that “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” had more lyrics. Anyway, Najwa’s class performed the song, in its entirety, during the DC Prep Winter Festival on the last day before winter break.

Before all the future Glee members arrived, though, we parents were welcomed to a very decorative Prepeteria. The theme for all the presentations was based on Where the Wild Things Are, 1963 children’s picture book by Maurice Sendak.

In the book, Max, the main character, rides in a boat to where the wild things are; hence, the singing of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” by the U. Chicago kindergarten class.

I’m so glad Najwa was in the front row. Just thought I’d mention that.
