Third Time a Charm for the Rhododendron Plant?

The rhododendron didn’t do well in its new location either. Leaves were shriveling. So I dug it up once again, knowing it creates shock to the roots but it’s dying anyway.

I put it in a temporary pot and placed it in the sun in the back yard. It looks like it’s making a comeback, so I put it back in its original spot, this time, after reading about how to plant these things, about a foot above ground level to allow the water to drain.

Let’s see if this thing does better. Already looks like new leaves are working on sprouting.
